Hello,

does anyone have any suggestions for installing auxiliary input (line-in feature) for mp3 etc, into factory installed radio in 2005 sts?

You could just use the old FM-Radio style adapters (tune to a selected frequency).

No FM-radio adapters or modulators...the sound quality with those things is awful

Nathanjax,

Thanks for your reply and suggestion, have you used either one of these devices or know of anyone that has?
If so, how is the sound quality?

Used one in my Escalade. Worked fine, good SQ. I used it with my iPod, kept it charged, it was great.

I just bought. Cadillac sts 2006 and I have the factory head unit. I wan to keep all of my factor steering controls but have hands free Bluetooth VIA my iPhone. Will the second harness listed provide me with all of that? Also would it integrate with a aftermarket head unit if I decided to throw a screen in? Thanks in advance

Not sure if it's a navigation/DVD equipped only item, but there are RCA Auxillary in jacks in my center console. I just use a cord that is 2 RCA into 1 headphone style jack and it plays my ipod through the stereo, won't show any video or pics while driving though. Need to get a lockpick soon ; )
