Ok all, I gots some questions for you Sclade owners. Do we need more power? Do we want more power? Do we want to go fast? Do we need to go fast? Do we want to do it for cheap? Do we want the factory warranty to be intact?
How do we do what we want to do? GO FAST! FOR CHEAP! AND NOT VOID THE FACORY WARRANTY?

And I mean FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0-60 in under 5 sec.flat.
Quarter 13 and under.
And all with a nice sweet Sclade ride that glides.
Give me the answer please.

For all you are asking I agree, but the CHEAP part IMHO it is impossible.
Yes I want more power, Yes I want to go faster, Yes I NEED to go faster, Yes I want amazing 1/4 mile times and yes I want neck-breaking acceleration, but if I want to maintain factory warranty it aint going to be cheap. :D

exactly. you buy and escalade to haul things and look good doing it.

you buy a sports car to go fast.

This might be setting myself up for disappointment, but 'unofficially' (digital stopwatch in the passenger's hands at a traffic light) I get to 60 *real*close* to 5 seconds.

I've been meaning forever now to get it up to the track and find out for sure what the 60, 100, and 1/4 times are. Guess now's as good a time as any, even though it's a little chilly in New Hampshire this time of year!

When I want to go fast. 0-60 in less than 5 seconds I have my GMC Typhoon and when I want to go really really fast I have my GMC syclone that goes 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. There is NO way for $149.00 you can get that kind of performance gain in a escalade. You know what they say.... If it's to good to be true it probally is.

I think the $149 was intended to be a joke. The term 'cheaply' has to be thought of relatively - relative to a $54,000 truck.

My total cost was $74,000. Vortech supercharger, custom exhaust, Volant intake, new fuel pump, new injectors, lowered, slightly stiffened. Cruising around town it still rides like a Cadillac, since it's still on 17" rims. Bolting off the line it pulls like a racehorse - a 6,000+ pound racehorse at that.

Last year, I saw on a magazine that has a supercharged EXT that goes 0-60 in 3.9 sec. But the modifications cost about $129k. It was a white EXT with 20 inch rims. I think it has a Corvette supercharge.

That was the Lingenfelter EXT. 427 Twin Turbo, 0-60 4 sec, 0-100 11 sec, 1/4 mile in 12.7 sec at 106 mph. Total cost $$124,500$$
