What should the oil pressure be at idle on a 2011 escalade any help would be great

Your question is vague. The Chevy engine was first introduced in 1955 and designed so that 5lbs of oil pressure per square inch per 1000rpm would provide sufficient lubrication, ideally one would want approx 10lbs oil pressure psi per 1000rpm. 10psi is actually a number for a stock high performance engine. That doesn't mean that I would be happy if my car only had 10psi at idle, just that it is a safe operating pressure for that rpm. If you're asking what oil pressure numbers the rest are seeing at idle, I would venture to say that the majority of us are probably seeing right around 30 psi while idling. What are your pressure readings??

yep around 30 psi.
