Yep, looks good. Mine was also in almost perfect condition.
It's unbelievable to think how the previous owner could put 89k miles on it and still have it looking that perfect. How many miles are on yours?
I totally agree with u, i don't know if i could ever buy a Cadillac new if the resale vaule drops that much. Great car for me though, just hope it's as reliable as it looks. Good luck with yours.

Nice car! I also have a 92 STS. Black/Black. I bought it last year with 88K miles for $2700. It is in near perfect condition! I havn't had any major problems with it yet! Have fun! Try not to screech the tires in first gear :D.

Once luxury cars loose their "country club appeal", that is, when they become embarassingly old, the value drops like a rock. Keeping up with the Jones' at the club can be very expensive indeed.

I just bought our '98 Seville SLS for $11.5 - she had 75k on her a month ago. The original owners paid over $42,000 6 years ago.

We just got back from a 1500 mile trip to Montana and averaged 25 mpg at speeds of 65 to 85 (mostly :lildevil: )

Oh what the he** guess I will join in on this as well...

I bought my 97 Diamond White STS with 70,050 on it on election day paid 9,543. out the door and In know what you mean about loving it and not wanting to get out. I just drove the next two days aimlessly. I wasnt near as excited when I got my 93 STS mainly due to condition. The 97 is Mint on the inside other than a small burn on the drives visor, hardly noticable though. Unfortunatly the rims are somewhat pitted but only in the grooves and the the face of it.

Still had sticker with the manual
BASE PRICE: $44,995
Options: $5,190. (Factory 12 cd changer $1,513, White Diamond $500., Chrome over wheels $1,195.,Sunroof $1,550. , Garage door $107., $Compass 100. , heated front seats $225.
Dest Charge: $665
Total: $50,850

Unreal...this will be the only way I drive a car that cost 50K...lol...will get a 2005 STS in 2015...
Here is a pic of my new BABY...

Cindy: Buying a slightly used Caddy, maybe a recent lease return makes a lot more sense than buying a brand new one. Let someone else eat the depreciation.

My 1999 SLS has 30K miles and it is fully equipped with just about every option except sunroof and the auto-massaging seats. Even in the great condition that it is, I don't think I could get much more than $15k for it. :banghead:

You got yourself a nice ride. Maybe you can now change your AOL IM handle from "broken heart" to "heart breaker."

Enjoy the ride.

Good luck.
