As per the classic "spark plug chart", I have heavy white ash deposits on cylinder number 7. Any techs have any idea what would cause such? I am chasing down a substantial engine tap. Rockers look good, need to check lifters/pushrods next. The only "fuel additive" as per the spark plug chart was a terraclean http://youtu.be/5VCuki_-vXQ performed about one week ago. All other plugs look normal.

All help is always appreciated.

So . . . you're sayin' that cylinder #7 is an ash-hole?? :rimshot: :duck::hide:

Seriously . . it could be related to the fuel, but soooo many varibles.

Hopefully it was a source of the tapping, but I think that's a stretch. Could be Valve seal also I believe...

FYI #7 runs the leanest off all the cylinders...
