Minidisc radio? [Archive] - Cadillac Owners Group

I have been looking for over a year now for a replacement oem radio for my 1998 STS with the minidisc option. Alot of you are probably thinking, "In dash minidisc?....can't be", and other are probably thinking "Minidsc, what is that?". I think they only offered it in 1998 and 1999 as an optional radio, but hardly anybody got one. At the time, minidisc technology was brand new and hardly anyone used it (much like today). I already have a minidisc changer in my glove box but thought it would be neat to have it in the radio too. If anyone has any info on where I can find one, even a broken one (I can always get it fixed), that would be great. :)

I have two MD Cadillac radios.
One is missing the cassette mechanism but it still has the MD mechanism. The second unit I have is complete, AM/FM/MD/Cas
I also have a MD mechanism but I'm not sure if it will work with the radios I have.
