Anyone have recommendations for the best Escalade license plate holders? My EXT is Black and I'm thinking of going with a simple black one with "Cadillac" at the bottom. I don't want to buy a cheap one online, I'd like a decent quality one, any suggestions?

I like these clear cover ones. They look great, protect against thievies stealing your tag and last pretty well but don't have any logos.

I have one on my ESV that has 7 LED lights and it works great.

Sorry I just don't remember where I got it!

I bought this one for my 2011EXT. Its chrome and has 14 led lights for when you back up. Works great.

The bright lights don't negatively affect the back up camera?

They sure do. I wish they didn't!

Because I'm anal when I installed my tag frame I didn't want it rubbing on my paint and creating an outline so I installed some clear rubber bumper pads similar to these.

No problem with the led backup lights or the plate lights all are leds.

Anybody have this one? I think it looks pretty nice, especially for the price.

I need one for my Escalade's front bumper. Got pulled over twice and need a suggestion for mounting the plate/bracket on the front where there isn't a specific place for it. I'll keep searching the forum to see how others have addressed this problem. Gonna have to take it to my body shop guy to drill some holes it seems :banghead:

There are factory license plate holders for the front of the car. On my front bumper I believe there are two dimples where the holder would screw into the bumper. Its kind of a permanent thing though once its on there. I'm glad my state doesn't require front plates!!

I just bought a used 2009 EXT. I then ordered a front mount. While going thru the vechile I found the front mount in a plastic bag inside the rear storage compartment. Factory white. My state does require a front plate. Kinda messes up the front look.

There is a factory mount for the lic plate but get ready for a shock when you check out the price for it...last time I looked it was like $150! I used a universal mount and just screwed right into the bumper where the small divots are (take a look, you'll see 2 small divots which are where the mount is to be attached). It is permanent but where I live you have to have a front plate.
