: Aux Power Connection?

So my GPS is pretty much a permanent fixture on my dashboard, and I'm tired of looking at the power cord draped inside the car. I'm thinking about ordering a second charge cable for it, and "hard wiring" it into the dash, with the connector coming up out of the dash near the center vent.

Anyone know if there is an auxiliary power connection provided in these cars? My Monte Carlo had a nice little connector under the glove box with +12, Switched, and Ground for hooking up extra electronics. I took a quick look but didn't see anything.

I pulled the stereo out and did the aux audio input. Picked up 12v from the lighter 12v socket and wired a second socket in the glove box. Plugged the charger in like normal and ran the other end (along with aux input) out of the center stack vent. You can determine if the 12v is switched or not by moving the fuse. Now the Iphone is in the TomTom cradle anytime I am in the car charging and ready to play some tunes "Siri play some cool music".
