I got my coupe in August 2010. I was disappointed that it didn't open fully, but I saw an early production model on a product manager road show visit, and then when I got mine I agreed there was no way they could pull it off without losing the precious headroom there is.

That being said, I am glad I got it. Have never heard a single peep out of it. Of course, it is much smaller that the sedan's ultra view roof.

Though most seem to think sunroof has not caused a problem, I've seen enough posts on here about rattles that I'm happy I ordered my Coupe without it.

Love mine, Almost 25K on my 2011 and not a peep.

No noise, but really cuts down on headroom. I would have skipped it if I had to do it again. That and I NEVER use it.

No rattles, but loss of headroom. Really not much value. Skip it.

I like the 1/2 " extra head room in mine.

Love mine. Use it all the time. 10,000 miles no leaks or noise. But I've never had a sunroof problem with any of my cars. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

No noise.............and I use it all the time. Gives a more "open" feeling with the extra light. I'm 5'-10" and fit fine.

No roof here for $900.00, no regrets, pays for pulley and HE upgardes. Funny though the Camaro has one that slides back up & over the roof.

I'm 6'3" and have the roof...no issues whatsoever. It's nice to open in Florida this time of year, even if it's a pop up and not full sliding roof.

For the coupe, I would say no to the sunroof. For the sedan, I would definitely get it. I use my sedan sunroof everyday... mainly retracted and open to the world. Also, even when closed, I love the panoramic effect that I have in the car. My sun shade has never been closed either. For the coupe, there are too many tradeoffs and it would be better to just keep it as a solid roof.

100% right Cub,

I'd like to see someone with a Diamond White Coupe do a 3M Carbon Fiber overlay of just the roof (M3 like). Might be cool.

I saw no point of the sunroof in the V Coupe, so I ordered mine WITHOUT the sunroof. I love the solid roof look and I am 6'1", so I do get a bit of extra headroom.
