Sure. 2...

Wrong section?
And hows it been holding up with 100k? To put 100k miles, you must either drive alot of miles daily or track it often.

I like that these can cruise at 95 at 0 lbs of boost.

yea i have a question, if you put that many miles on a V in that short of time period you literally must of had to take out a second loan just for fuel lmao, that really is awesome though congrats, see if you can get it to 200 k lmao

Why ya gotta be a dink? It's a fantastic car that I'd trade my 06 in for in a heartbeat... Even with the auto tranny.

That's you. I wasn't trying to being a "dink". I hate automatics with a passion. There is a Diamond Black V2 that parks at my work garage. I used to drool over it until I saw the automatic.

Personally I'd rather have my V1 than a V2 auto.

Back on topic, I agree with lilg on the gas. I do 35 miles each way to work in my V1 and bitch about gas, I can't imagine what my monthly gas bill would be in a V2.

For a direct trade, I'd give in my 06 for an 09 auto V any day of the week, bar none.

Then flip it for the 6-speed. ;)

If he got it in late '08 it's not that bad. It's only about 34k miles per year. My daily commute is 100 miles, I've hit over 45k miles in a year. :)

I say congrats! If you drive a lot you should do it in a car that you love. Not sure why people hate to put miles on the car they enjoy driving most?

Yeah true, some guys to seem to torture themselves with a really nice garage queen and the crappiest daily driver you'll ever see. I'll never understand it.

Only reason that I have a shitty DD and leave my V in the garage while im at work is because i'm at work for 3-4 days straight and i'd rather have my DD sit outside than my V.

And I always wonder why it looks so squeeky clean

Mine is my daily driver for about 5 to 6 months of the year, then its hunting season and my pick up truck gets the call from the bull pen. I have had dead stuff (geese and ducks) in the trunk of the V before, but its just much easier to toss the guns, gear and dead bodies in the bed of a truck and move on. All too often if the weather is favorable at the end of the day, or late afternoon, I will head to the fields for an hour or two before heading home.

I put somewhere between 6000 to 8000 miles on mine a year, definitely no more than that. Between my TBSS, the CTS-V, my Chevelle SS, and my pick up trucks I put on plenty of miles.
