Ive wanted to run the car a couple times since i got it just to see what it would do. I made it out to whatever the track is called here in indy now last night, and got a couple in. And a couple of the guys from here jebfrank, and goat-v were there also. The video is crap and the camera died after my first run... i was beside a damn nova that was more than loud and you couldnt hear anything outta my car besides the 2nd gear sqeek.......If you watch close enough you can see my tail lights flash when i take off because the wheel hop was so horrible......well enjoy

Mods: 1-3/4 pacesetter, orp, magnaflow catback, peak speed ported intake mani, tune. The car made 377hp/374tq

Car looks great but I hope all that wheel hop doesn't break something.

You definitely don't want to do very many launches. I always did street starts, even at the strip. I still managed 13.5, bone stock, from a roll. And it's still fun!

Axles. Get some axles. Before your pumpkin hits the pavement and splits wide open ... or is it the other way around.

Oh, btw, looked like a good time even with that loud (but cool) sounding Nova next to you.

I had the axles. And I still hopped badly at the track. Prepped tracks have alot more traction than street pavement, so not even the axles could compensate.

Thanks guys. i got $2,400 ive saved up from some parts i have sold and im trying to decide what do do with it. I need the axles...buuutt patriot stage 2s and a cam seam like a more fun way to go.The axles are only 500 bucks, i should be able to save that pretty quick...... If i dont blow the rear first and have to spend $1200...lol

Do the axles first.

You have an '06, get the axles after the heads and cam. You can always slip the clutch to get rid of the wheelhop.

Good run!

When I get me some drag radials on the cheap, I'll be testing out my Gforce 9" rear end at the track too. It's getting late in the season now unfortunately, but we'll see.
