I was toying around Mspaint and thought this looked kind of cool

Nothing wrong with a black/white tuxedo look. I like it.

I think the way you have it there would look alright. Most factory Cadillac two-tones are usually dark on top and light colored on the bottom.

If you want it to look like a factory custom paint job, maybe look at how Cadillac did the Eldorado, Seville and the d'Marchand and Phaeton edition de Ville

Eldorado:

Seville:

d'Marchand edition:

You can sorta see how similar body lines coincide with the lines on your Sedan. The Sedan would have been two-toned like the picture of the Phaeton edition.

(*Question for the Moderator- Why is there an attachment and why can't I un-attach it?!?*)

I've had that problem too. Annoying, isn't it?

Awesome post!!

I was thinking with the white on top it might help with the Air conditioning, as everyone knows black cars get hot in the sun.

Also I've yet to see anyone accent those wheel wheel flares.

I'm going to keep playing around and If and when I paint my car that's how im going to do it.

My car is ice cold, all day, every day and it is essentially a big, black brick. Florida Sun can kiss my pale Irish ass.

Hottest car I have ever sat in was a Ford Fusion. Not just once, every time. The design of that car just makes it like stepping into an oven. Nothing of value was lost, as I cannot drive a six cylinder anyway.

That's the cold shadow of death... It's almost as nice as having an air conditioner.

Just for noting, this d'Marchand edition on pic above, is mine and it was quite difficult to find some good pic of d'Marchand edition. So maybe it is not 1:1, but anyway colors are right as they use to be. And there is lil trick like red pearl in black color, giving deep red tone under the sun.:D

^I noticed that in some of the pictures... It looks very nice.

It would look sharp except for the wheel arches. The plateaued hood is perfect for tu-toning.

Yeah, but it's nice to have working AC now, because that Defog feature is useful in...well...fog.

When do you get fog? You live in freakin' Florida! OK, it does help when the humidity gets obnoxious.
