: Suggestions on Dynomax/Flowmaster/Glasspacks to replace stock exhaust on the '70 CDV?

Time to get rid of the stock exhaust on this thing (Single) would like some duals and something that flows a little better. A deep tone would be nice, nothing too loud since the cops already stalk my ass with the primer, shaved chrome and door handles and 4 inch whitewalls. Flowmaster's website has no cadillac section so I'm curious who has experience with 472 exhausts. Thanks.

The glasspacks are gonna be too loud for you probably. Flowmasters and Dynomax mufflers are universal, I assume you'll be taking it to a muffler shop to have the work done? If so talk to them about which to use.

From a flow point of view either the dynomax or magnaflow are better than the flowmasters. Both have a straight thru design. Flow something like 1151 cfm compared to 425 for the flomasters.

Thanks guys. I've bought and installed exhausts myself, my Honda has a
catback bolted right to the header via a straightpipe and the bitch is
louder than a bomb. So for the 'lac nothing ricey and nothing
too crazy since this ain't a musclecar. I forgot about magnaflow, I'll have
to remember them. Glasspacks are outta question I've decided. Thanks for
your opinions.
