I picked up said car a few days ago and one of the many ailments it suffers is a weak return cam. IE, the turn signal stalk drops down, engaging the left turn signal. I've seen two part numbers referenced, one for a T&T column, and one for a standard column. I have the T&T column, and am wondering what the exact difference is?

I see this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/67-68-Cadillac-Turn-Signal-Cancel-Cam-/170675141214?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessorie s&fits=Year%3A1968|Model%3ADeVille&hash=item27bd07fa5e

And wonder if it'd work. It says it's for all models, but then again, Autozone sold me a '69+ cam, saying it was listed for a '68... So... you guys think it'd be worth $13 to see if that ebay cam would work, or should I just disconnect my left turn signal wire and use my hand in the mean time?

I'd give it a shot for $13 bucks.
