I have about 900 miles now on my V-Coupe but I notice that if my hand is resting on the shift knob while driving that I feel

what I describe as road "wabble" vibrations on the knob- especially when braking.... mostly in auto mode.

Do any of you feel what seems to be above average road "wabble" in the shifter.. especially when braking?

seems like an inordinate amount of flex reaches the shifter.

I dont drive with my hand resting on the shifter..... its not a good Idea... but I went out and took a drive just to see what you were talking about, and YES you feel some road vibration. I would not pay to much attention to it unless the movement is excessive.:)

thanks for the input. I will get it checked if it seems to get worse.

I've only had the car for a month but I have had two phone interviews from GM engineering asking about my experience with the car.

If they call again I will mention it.

+1 - this habit will wear-out the internals (bushings) of the shifter, its action will become pretty sloppy after a few years.
