Hello all looking time reader first time poster after much searching and dealing I purchased a new to me 07 infrared v. It is everything I was looking for in a car. Unfortunately the Nav system is cleared and the Nav DVD is missing. Any good solutions to remedy this would be appreciated. Thanks
Have to buy one from the dealer unless it's GM certified, probably. I like my silver, but I LOVE that infrared! You'll enjoy this forum. Welcome!!

Damn.....love that color.....
Not what you want to hear, but for the price of a nav disc you can get a garmin that is up to date, faster, and works infinitely better. Don't bother with the in dash nav.

I agree with JimmyH. I have the indash nav with the disc... and I use my 2010 garmin which I bought off a crackhead for $30. It has alerts for known speed traps, red light cameras, local strip clubs, etc.
I mean uh, churches, banks, orphanages, etc.

Ya I was thinking if I could the software cheap ie: free I would install it but I have a smart phone so i have all the GPS I need.
I know the in dash nav is convenient (especially when you are downtown and a portable will lose satellite uplink) but I would not go out of your way to acquire a disc.

No local strip clubs around here ... that I know of, anyway ... so, in-dash Nav works fine for me.
