Probably the battery. Mine is on it's third battery according to the records.

These cars have so many computers that funky things start happening when the power supply starts to fail. In fact, the car will basically stop functioning (i.e., refuse to crank starter) if the battery is too weak. Had that happen to me one day. Absolutely no noise or feedback when I hit the start button, but I could drop down into accessory mode and listen to the radio while I waited for Roadside Assistance. They replaced the battery in 5 minutes and I was on my way.

It's probably the battery ,I've been through 4 already. One new battery only lasted 6 months and that was an OEM 101 6YR. Like mentioned this car does strange things with a weak/bad battery. Back in January I replaced mines with an Interstate MTP-101 ($185) and it's been fine ever since.

Optima Red all the way. My original battery lasted till July 2011. Feb 2006-July 2011 isn't bad.
