I had this set of Hoosiers that had the rubber starting to separate at the seams. What else was I supposed to do with them? Grab the popcorn and a tissue.

We had a guy in my corvette club we called smokin' Joe for obvious reasons he did the same thing back in th late 80's it was in the evening and you could see sparks fly from the steel cords. He was trying to see how long before the popped. I beleive it was around the 2 minute 45 second mark you hear a pop but it was not the tires his motor said bye bye. He often wondered why no one took him up on his offer to do a burnout in their car even when he'd offer to buy them new tires in exchange. Fun times back then.
