How much is there to this and at what cost? The mechanic I used to replace the water pump belt and thermostat isnt excited about the opportunity to work on this engine, ha. So, is this a big deal or what?

Most mechanics fear the unknown. I, personally, love the challenge. I have learned alot by just getting to it. I saw your earlier post.

He did it with no problem. The engine still has a rough idle. Changing spark plugs and wires today, crossing my fingers!

Plugs and wires took care of it. Back to running great!

Yeah, just thought I was. Still running great but on the way in this morning the SES light came on again. Checked for codes and there are none. Hmmm...

That's strange. Anytime the SES light comes on there should be a code stored. If there are none, I'd ignore it unless it happens again.

AJ,
Did the light stay on or go off? I agree, if it came on, there should be a code of some sort.
