I bought this car two weeks ago with 54k original miles. The engine is running a little rough under light acceleration and I think it's a vacuum problem. I notice that there is no hose connected to the EGR valve. I can't find any loose hoses laying around unconnected. Can somebody tell me where the hose should be connected?

forum member Sven made this (I believe)

It's probably the best vacuum diagram I've ever seen for these 307's

I didn't realize until I saw this drawing that the VRV has an unconnected nipple. Whoever connected the vacuum hoses last stuck the EGR hose on the VRV. I moved the hose to the EGR and now it runs smooth and solid. Thanks a million.

There's supposed to be a foam filter stuck to on that extra nipple; they fall off and get lost.
