...and a few more...

I believe this is the ATS-V as I see a bulge in the hood. I'm guessing that would be reserved for the V-Series version...

I spy a lane departure camera in the upper windshield and an adaptive cruise lens in the grille. Awfully upmarket goodies for the new "entry level" car...

I'm sure this car is going to be a hit. Even if they don't hit every mark.

ATS-V exists only on a computer right now.

This is more than likely the Turbo version of the regular ATS, but could be the V6. Both have the dual pipes. The "regular" 4 has one pipe.

Good to know.. Thank you.. Whatever the twin turbo 3.0 goes into is going to be a hot seller...

By Turbo I was talking about a 4, not a 6. There is a Turbo 4 that's going into a lot of new GM cars (think of it as GM's answer to EcoBoost 4's)

How sure are you about this?

100% sure, other programs are the "lead program" on the V-Series engine and they are not even at an IVER phase yet. The cars on the ring this week (which is where that shot was taken) are all initial model year "ATS" cars.

Anyone who tells you otherwise, is NOT in the know. Or is attempting to mislead.

Good to know. Thank you! I'm anxious to see this car on showroom floors... I think it's going to be the best selling new model for Cadillac - ever.

From a cost standpoint, it would make sense to use the same hood across the lineup. All Camaros have a hood bulge. Put there from the start in anticipation of the ZL1 I am guessing.

That's true but I think there needs to be some obvious differences between non-performance models and otherwise. The original ZR-1 wasn't different enough from the regular Corvette and that kinda hurt sales after the initial shock...

I am sure the ATS-V will have unique fascias like the other V series. But they should give the V series their own side skirts.
