If it's just the cat-back then you shouldn't. If you go cat-less or do high-flow cats then you will.

A citation for excessive noise maybe, but the B&B (or any other aftermarket catback for that matter), should not trigger O2 related codes.

Ask Heavy, he has run various configurations of B&B, including at least one that made NASCAR seem quiet.

^^ lol.

1st config: Stock manifolds + X-Pipe + 3" B&B cat Back
Not that loud and no problems from the police

2nd config: B&B Headers with the high flow cats + X-Pipe + 3" B&B cat Back
Holy crap that is loud but did it sound nice. Just revving it to about 2 grand got an officier to stop next to me and wave his finger at me. I only kept this configuration for about 2 weeks before going to 3rd config.

3rd config: B&B Headers with the high flow cats + Resonator + 3" B&B cat Back
loud but when you let off on the accelerator and at freeway speeds it was civilized. I really like this configuration and the best sounding out of the bunch. They all sounded good to me but I do prefer this one.

I'm sure Heavy will have some Valuable comments.
