First I would like to share some evidence of why stealerships in my area make my skin crawl. This is a story about Legends Cadillac in Scottsdale, AZ. I walked into the parts department to make in inquiry about the plastic, left side, front part of the fenderwell. Long story short, I broke a fastener or two and didn't replace immediately after changing out some bulbs and it rubbed against my tire causing a portion of the plastic to melt. No big deal, well after asking about some other parts...Corvette FRC's mainly....I got an estimate for close to $600. See attached. Given my lack of trust in the local dealerships, I decided to call Luke at Lindsay. Legends Cadillac was trying to charge me close to double list price for almost every part and three times on the fastners!! I called the parts manager and had words, you should have heard the defensive backpeddaling, ridiculous. So, I just want to thank Luke again for being a reputable businessman. If you don't already, send your business to him.

On the other note, I will be calling Luea back to order my new clutch. Up until now I have had my regular mechanic (not a caddy specialist or anything) do all my work, even install my exhaust, should I trust him to do the clutch, or can anyone recommend a specialty shop in Arizona, PHX, Tempe, or Scottsdale.

Thanks all,

If the mechanic is good, I'd say stick with him. The V is a pretty straight forward vehicle...
