Wanted to get thoughts on the following combo...

vehicle in question is an A6 '11 V with aftermarket goodies yielding near 580rwhp.

Considering 20" aftermarket wheels with 265/35-20 fronts (~27.3" diameter) and 305/35-20 rears (~28.4" diameter). I know this would effectively raise (or lower numerically) the gearing of the car, although with the kind of power it is putting down, that is probably not a huge concern.

That rear is not going to work. You need the 305 30 20 to keep the front to rear ratio close enough to not ef with the computer.

So what is the ratio +/- without causing probs? up 1" rolling diameter difference ok?

Do you have a coupe or a sedan?
You can go 305/30/R20 on the coupe all day long without any issues. The sedan will take a 295/30/R20 rear no problem. We even do a few with 305's on some of the custom wheel builds. Give us a call at the office and our guys can provide you with all the options that work and dont work.

Thank you,

With 20" rims, you can go with the Michelin Pilot Super Sports! Doit!
