what a beautiful interior- love the color.
gotta love the astroroof (as long as it doesnt leak)
ash tray looks immaculate too (most are brown/rusty inside)
all in all, looks like it was really well cared for.
hows the exterior?

Sorry for the messy attachments =) I found this car on craigslist and am buying it tomorrow afternoon! It has the 5.7 350 towing package with FE2 suspension; dual power front seats, working opera lights, aftermarket head unit with usb and aux input, antelope color in and out. Just needs exhaust work around 90-91K miles for $1110

It even has the tape for the car in the glove box, plus the previous owner is providing me receipts for work he has had done.

The exterior is the same color and is in pretty nice shape couple rust spots on the driver side door and a ding on one of the fenders, the sunroof doesn't leak, it also has remote start. I cant wait to get the car!

I love the back fiber optic lights, also has them on the hood. I had a 1994 Deville concours (northstar headgasket failure) at one point and it had the same lights in the back but I dont think it had them on the hood hmmm. I also had a 1996 Seville that got totaled while I was at a red light.

Thanks =)
Ill take some exterior pics tomorrow after I get her all washed up. Forgot to mention the AC works real well, with the original R12 Freon. I'm going to run some climate control diagnostics and see what RPM it runs at ETC and if there are any codes

the fiber optic lights are one of the cool things about these older caddies. plus they help you know if a light is out.
and working opera lights too? now those are hard to find.
btw, does it come with the original radio as well?

He has the original radio and amp I will have to remind him to bring those thanks for sparking that in my head lol! He said the radio failed and he replaced it with the kenwood unit. Ill take a pic of the opera lights they have a very cool glow I was in shock to see them working. I am assuming its because he said the car was garaged for most of its life so they probably didn't get UV damage? Is that the main reason they fail, or is it the 110V inverter?

Well the interior looks nice. That's the same colour as mine. I was going to comment on the sunroof until you said it. You are right the Concours didn't have the lights on the hood, I have a 94 Deville and it's strange seing just the ones in the back. Mine also has working opera lights. I think it's both use and the sun that wrecks them.

Prime looking interior! Post some pics of the exterior if you can.
I like the back and hood fiber optics too,on my '78 Deville. You`re right, the '94 concours did`nt have the fiber optics on the hood----they`re not on my '95 Deville either-----seems the hoods on those models were not long enough and too sloped down for them. The '93-'96 Fleetwoods had the hood fiber optics though.

Nice looking Brougham! Enjoy it.

I have the same color interior in my 90 & 85!

In my 90 I average about 14mpg, w/ about 90% city driving. Mine has the 5.7 liter.

Get some exterior pics up soon.

17, must be nice. On a good day I will see 16. I usually see around 13-15 mpg. I have 177,000 miles on the clock and I drive in the city 90%of the time.

Took it on a drive to Burlington VT got pretty bad gas mileage but ah well it was a real nice ride. I noticed a shimmy around 65-80MPH. Also lots of smoke upon startup, how much do these valve seals cost to fix anyway? Also does this climate control supports diagnostic mode ? I can get it to show numbers 0-26 or something but cant figure out how to select anything such as the coolant temp or RPMS.

Also I was surprised to find that the power trunk pulldown works good =)

diagnostic is pulled through the ALDL connector under the dash. on my '86 it is to the right of the ash tray.
although on some other cars I've had it is on the left of the ash tray. its a smallish 12 pin connector.

Yes, you get the trouble codes through the climate control area.

do they show up on the climate control area once i ground the AB terminal or will they flash the check engine light like my old caprice???

AElayyat

If you ground the connection the check engine light should flash.

But you have the 5.7 w/ TBI so you should be able to get the codes through the climate control by holding OFF & WARMER buttons

what he said. Press the 2 buttons and use a manual to figure out what the codes mean. That's actually one of the very few things a haynes manual is good for.
