Where the heck is the cabin air filter located on a 2008 STS? Owners manual doesn't even mention one but I believe it's there!

Not sure if it's the same place or not for your car but this is a really great write up with pictures.

edit: Whoops I did't realize this was for the SRX boards..sorry.

Pretty much like the above reply. Take the rubber off, 3 screws for the plastic, slotted air inlet, unhook the 2 side tabs on the water shield over the filter, and slide the shield to the center of the car.

Reach in and pull the old filter up - it's a b**** because it hits the back edge of the hood - I had to bend mine to get it out, and same with the new one.

Just changed mine this morning, got filter from RockAuto: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php

What he said above:
-remove 3 screws with socket driver
-pull away weather strip
-remove rain shield
-unsnap water shield and remove
-pull filter out (will have to bend as it is a tight fit!)
-put new one in (also have to bend)
-put everything back reverse order

Good luck! Takes about 10min
