I need a new center glass driver's side fixed window glass. What does it come from, a station wagon, what, where? Someone replaced it with plexi and I want to go back original. Do I go to a junk yard?

Who did the conversion and what are the dimensions of the window?

It is an Earnhardt conversion and I will get the measurements today when I get it from the vinyl top shop. I had a new top installed and the AC repaired.
Thanks for your help,
Pirkey

Earnhardt and Johnson were only around for two years. They had something to do with Amherst & Co (partners or a subsidiary), so I think parts would be interchangeable with those conversions.

ompany traces back to Hess and Eisenhardt from Sayer and Scovill Coachworks of the late 1800's. They were the pioneers of armored cars and limos before some companies were even a glimmer in the eye of all those to follow.

You may have to have it custom made, which might not be as expensive as it sounds. A glass shop should be able to fab one up using the plexiglass.

Having one made up will give you a variety of tint options, too.

My little 60" stretch is going to the top shop in a couple of weeks too. It's a pricey job, but as you know it's such a big part of the car it really has to be done right and look good.

I actually like the limo, pink paint and all. wonder if it was for a mary kay executive or something?
does the antenna on the trunk lid actually do anything or is it just for show?
any chance we could see the inside (front and back) of the limo?

I have a plexi in it and want to remove it for a glass. I do not know how much the top is worth but it cost me $1,500.00 for mine.

Sure I will post some more pics in the morning. The boomerang was for the TV, I think. Due to new TV signals it is hard to verify.

I was not originally pink, but that MARY KAY would make for a better story!!

I meant a glass shop could use your existing plexiglass window as a template.
