I just purchased my SRX at first my phone was connected for about a week and then it would not stay connected. I took phone back and they tested it to be fine. What I gathered from some reading is that the problem stems from it accessing phone book. Is there a way to stop that. When I rented a flex it gave me the option here it seems to do it on its own. I would like to try that first before swapping phones. Thanks

RXman, have you had the vehicle checked to make sure that the vehicle isn't causing the problem? If the vehicle comes out without any issues then that would eliminate another possibility as to what the culprit may be for this issue for you. I hope this helps. I've been able to solve this problem for several customers by deleting the phone from your SRX, then re-pairing it.
Press the speech button the steering wheel and say
1. If you have Nav, say "handsfree" (if not, start at step 2)
2. Say "bluetooth"
3. Say "delete"
4. Say the name of your phone to remove it from the SRX.
Re-pair the phone by using the same instructions, only replace the word "delete" with the word "pair". Let me know if you have any difficulty.
