^^^ Looks like darth Vader reincarnated as a car. Meh!

I always thought this was Darth Vader reincarnated into car form, or at least what he'd drive:

Having driven one, I can confirm that the Countach is hot! And I am not refering to its' performance potential!

Star Destroyers are awesome. I would rock one. If I had the 10000+ crewers required to fly them. Or even the 2000 skeleton crew. They can make .4 past lightspeed. The interdictor destroyers can pull a full size cruiser out of hyperspace. And the super-Star Destroyers...what can you say? They are the size of a large city. They have the tractor-beam capacity to immobilize a destroyer, and the turbolaser capacity to pulverize it while it's pinned there. Kudos to the Empire for bankrupting three different star systems to build those three super destroyers.

I liked the first one, though it could have been shorter. The second and third were just way too long. And those are the theatrical versions. I cannot even imagine watching the extended versions. Vigo was awesome though.

Fact of the day: The croissant is NOT French. It was a Polish creation to celebrate the driving back of the Ottoman empire, and it was introduced to France by Marie Antoinette.

thebigjimsho
08-15-11, 10:52 AM
It's flaky and falls apart upon contact. While it may taste good, it is also airy and light.

It is, most certainly, French...

And most French cuisine as we know it originate as Italian cuisine. When Catherine de Medici, the future Queen Consort of France, was married off to the king of France in 1533, (at the time, France was a dead spot in the European food world) she brought all of her kitchen staff, tons of food, recipes, and even replanted her gardens in France. The food quickly caught on in France and evolved after hundreds of years into the French cuisine we know today. Much of France's diet before that was simple pottages.
