Hi All,
It's looking a lot like my '99 Catera is reaching the end of the road;
so I'm looking at something similar, about 2 or 3 years old.
I don't much care for the style of the CTS (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/), so I'm thinking STS..... 2008 or 2009.
So...... I'd like to know.
1. Will the wheels from my Catera fit the STS?
2. Is there anything in particular to by mindful of when buying an STS?
3. I live in Markham Ontario (near Toronto). Can anyone recommend a good source for these cars?
Thanks,
..... john

1. No. Catera is 5x110 (http://www.vehicle-bolt-pattern.com/cadillac-lug-reference-guide.html)

No idea about the rest, but good luck in your search!

Even though we don't respond to most posts, we read them,
and acquire the knowledge of that post,
Like: Ohhhhh, so that's how they do that !
or: Ohhh, that's the number or size of that part,
if I ever needed one!

Thanks Guys (or Girls) as the case may be....

The STS can be expensive to repair and often requires specialiized tools & information. Strongly consider an extended warranty of some form. In the states, only Cadillac dealers offer the best warranty - Certified Pre-Owned. You probably already know of many other varieties of protection, too. Used cars sold by private parties & independants generally need to be within the OEM warranty to be considered for the best extended plans.

Test drive a few different cars before deciding on the trim level & options you want on your STS. Different options can make BIG difference and retrofits can be difficult/expensive. Once you know what you want, then look for a deal.
