Discovered another glitch - in addition to no "I drive" info and no PM's: If you incorrectly type in a link address, submit the post, and discover, when checking the link, that you have typed in an incorrect address or domain you cannot hit EDIT POST and simply change the offending letter, number, or domain. You must delete the ENTIRE link and re-type it or the edit will NOT take effect - it looks like it does, but the original mistake is what the site (CF) still tries to get to.

Jimmeh.........I have no idea "how to post an example". A link I posted had the domain ".org" instead of the ".com" I typed. When i tried to correct the domain through EDIT the link turned light purple (instead of blue) and then, if I tried to open it, I got one of those pages that says "The site is for sale". Soooooo..........I deleted the entire link, re-entered it, the text turned blue again, and it now works.

I think I might know your problem. I put a link in your post, hit edit so you can see it (sorry, I don't know any way of posting vb code to where it won't get converted to html)

You will see the link twice, once in quotes within the url tag, and once without quote between the url tags. The one in quotes is the actual link, the one between the tags is what gets displayed in the post. You will notice that if you click on the link I put in your post, it looks like cadillac.com, but it will actually try to take you to cadillac.com1.
