how much did you pay for it? ask the dealer if the previous owner paid for an extended warranty because it is transferable. also, gmpp only can be purchased before 50k miles. if you got it at 64k miles, you have to get a non-gm warranty.

I would get a warranty. I have heard Hybrid vehicles are pricey to repair or replace batteries and stuff.

How much is the GM extended warranty? It was never offered when I bought my 2010 Premium brand new.... (no problems so far though).

Never mind; I found it. I don't think it is worth it; that is just my opinion though. I don't plan on getting it. Isn't your batter and all covered until 100,000 miles per CA law, etc. etc.

woodya,

Unfortunately, since you have already purchased the vehicle, you would not be able to purchase an extended warranty from GMPP at this time. You would have had to purchase it at the time you purchased your vehicle.

Thank you,

If you don't have an extended GM Warranty the only warranty that even compares is offered through Mercury(not to be confused with Ford Motors). Most local Credit Unions can sell it to you, there are several locations here in the Dallas area that sell called Resource One Credit Union. If you choose the Platinum coverage it covers EVERYTHING just like a GMPP plan minus cosmetic issues with usually a $50-$100 deductible. I spoke to my Cadillac Service Rep & he said that is the best non-gm warranty out there but it is hard to find an authorized agent for the company. Good Luck!
