So last week I hired a model to take some pics with my V for the popular hot rodding magazine owner photographer contest that will be published in their january issue...since I teach high school photo class I figured I would give it a whirl...Plus with my new born daughter the day has come where I need to post my baby for sale....:nono: I wish she didn't have to go but with 481 RWHP after the maggie she is just not practical and I can't bring myself to put a car seat in her with cheerios and god only knows what else....so here they are hope you fellas enjoy...if you want full resolution pics for screensavers just send me a message and i can send them to you...this is just a tease i have over a thousand pics from this shoot....later guys....

Gorgeous! Girl looks good, too.

One word of advice: Never, EVER let a broad lay on your V.

Great captures bud! Might I add one comment - if you're a photo teacher, bring a student out to be your lighting assistant.

A reflector will do wonders to brighten up your photos and get rid of the shadows...basically to highlight her ASSets...and frontsets too I suppose.

Note the photo above, and see where the shadows lie. Without a reflector, she would be really dark.

What, no "dead hooker in the trunk" shot?...lol

cts-v2k5
08-03-11, 10:03 PM
HAHA thanks guys...figured you would like that...I used a reflector in some of the shot along with a external flash problem was it was amazingly bright that day and I shot these in RAW format so when I did some recovery & contrast to get some sky back I just couldn't get the total look I was hoping for but the one "small8" worked to where you can see the fill light you speak of...But it was difficult to focus on the car with such a thing of beauty...I have to upload them to photo bucket this week...It was very hard to let a girl sit on my V especially it wasn't my wife but it was worth the s*%t I caught for doing it...

Why do you need to block the plate in photos? We don't hide our plates when we drive on the streets every day. Just wondering.

Thanks again guys...what do you mean by another spam thread is born???? I just wanted to share some photos that I was proud of being part of....I am the farthest thing from a spammer I have been on this forum for almost 10 years under the name 78Biarritz when I had my first car a triple white 78 Eldorado that I bought when I was 16 and put over 150,000 miles on her...I blocked the plates in these for the models portfolio not carsickness because i was trying to hide it...god only knows what she is going to do with them....I am working on a photo bucket tonight to get the high quality pics up....I did notice one two inch scratch from her heel but it buffed out fine...The rims lollygagger8 are chip foose speedster 20"s...they might be up for sale soon if they don't go with the car I also have a set of 20" CCW's offset with 10.5 rears too but I am not separating anything until i know for sure....cheers Matt!

You'll have a tough time overpowering the sun with a flash...but the reflector is good because it softens up the hard lines of the shadow.

You almost have to choose a spot where the vehicle is properly lit, and the girl is a little dark. then you can shoot with the reflector, and lighten up the subject. Food for thought. Bring plenty of towels, and the models tend to sweat a lot when they get hit with the reflector.

Great job, looking forward to your next set!

Don't worry a bit about that, it's sort of an inside joke. Everybody here is very happy to see your photos.

Thanks again guys...what do you mean by another spam thread is born???? ...Sorry. Doesn't take much for the guys here to start posting up pics of broads, dames, wenches ... you know, all that kind of stuff. Though it's more likely to occur in the winter, I sure thought this thread was going down that path what with a bit of boredom setting in through this long hot summer. My bad. Won't happen again. :hide:

Looks like he caught a meat thermometer at 60 mph..

Does it have to go on the grill? I think it would look better on the rear in place of the cts.

Well, I've always wanted to remake Annie Hall. Except, I wouldn't want to get in bed with a green producer like a Sofia Coppola though. Oh, but give me an old pro like a Robert Redford. Oh, I'd jump into bed with him in a second. And I wouldn't just lie there, Michael Bluth, if that's what you're thinking.
