: Cadillac parade in VT
Hey all, just saw this and thought to post if anyone was interested in attending. I was thinking about driving up. Sounds like a cool event to see some different Cadillacs. A guy I met at Carlisle went to an all Cadillac show at the Hershey car mueum and sent me some pics of old school cars. I can appreciate the heritage of when Cadillac ruled the road.

I had been thinking of getting a drive up the day before. Meet on I-91 in Greenfield, MA and head west on Rte 2 and drive VT-100 from the MA border to Canada. Head back south and get a place for the night and then do the parade the next day.
But the summer has flown by and I never really tried to get it going...
With work I can only swing the single day off. I'm leaning more and more towards doing this. I've always wanted to visit VT in the summer time. I contacted to woman in charge and she said they are about 10 short of the record right now. They have a cruise and other activities planned for the participants that day. Jim I'm sure if you go that'll attract 10 peope atleast!

You overestimate the power of the dark side...
Well the record was broken. New Guiness Wolrd Record of 298 Cadillacs in a parade. Was really neat to be a part of. All makes and models from 1905, 1909 to 2011. I was the only V1. 2 STS-Vs, and SLR-V and a few coupes sedans and a wagon. I was wearing my V cadillacowners.com t shirt from a few years back. Quite a few people commented on it and will hopefully join up.

Hey Houdini, go do yourself.

I guess that can be taken two ways...

During our Indy V meet I suggested to the group that we hit the parking lot to have a clunk contest. I dominate at clunking my V the loudest. :)
I was thinking about that! Did suffer from clutch annoyance a few times. :banghead: Better then over heating like a few of the older cars.
Great Grandson of the founder of Cadillac:
I did a double take on this one:

... Better then over heating like a few of the older cars. ...I see this happen every year at the Woodward Dream Cruise, too.
Nice pics! Looks like a lot of fun!
