Just got my 3rd tattoo today, kinda pumped, it turned out great. i gave my buddy the pic and he changed a few small things.
this says life if you look at it, but when i look down at it it says pain.
kinda symbolic for me because i was hit in a car accident, other driver fault, and been going through hell with doctors and medications like crazy...(+5YRS NOW...)

and ive got another 1 on my back, has my last name (so i wont post it) but also has revolvers and a bunch of smoke around them

so POST PICS OF YOUR INK!!!

25 years in the submarine force and nary a tattoo. Fortunately I'll never have to answer a grandchild's "Grandpa, why did you do that ?"

To each his/her own. It'll look great 50 years from now............:ill:

I am with sub409 on this, for I will never get a tattoo or piercing (my obsessive compulsive disorder makes it hard to have anything on my skin), but I appreciate good work when I see it. Not bad, dude.

it took me 5 years to design the leg, and it took me clost to the same for my back.
my newest one took a year-2yrs to decided on the design, and placement.
personally as long as a golf shirt covers it and a pair of pants then i say that skin is fair game.
no, not everyone likes tattoos, i know 1 girl who has none and her husband has 2 full sleeves, 1 ankle to knee n 1 leg and 1 calf tat....hes only got his torso left, and he has a very professional job, its just something some people like and others dont.

The coolest tattoo I've ever seen was on a guy I put to sleep a few months ago. Have you ever seen a newborn baby's foot prints inked onto a piece of paper like "finger prints?" This guy had his baby's footprints and name tattooed over his heart. It was the most unique tattoo I've ever seen. I imagine if I ever got a tattoo I would want something like that.....unique, that really meant a lot to me. As opposed to something popular that was out there for the whole world to see.

To each his/her own. Ink is not for me.

I'd probably wimp out. I can't stand needles.

Never had a Tattoo, which apparently really surprises people coming from "some one like me" nor have I ever had an [intentional] piercing, but stab wounds don't count. I have some awesome scars though and have glass embedded in my torso from an accident once. That's kind of the same as ink, except not at all.

A friend of mine and wants to get the S&S Logo done, which we were interestingly talking about earlier this week.

The whole, massive nerve damage/immunity to common infections thing should make me a natural candidate though.

As for needles, I did get a shot once. Back in January I got a Tetanus shot because my car bit me during an encounter with someone sent to attack me as part of the saga of my local personal stalkers (And THAT court date isn't until September, so it shows you how the FL legal system takes it's time) and I actually felt really ripped off, because I have always been told Tetanus shots are painful, but now I am told they don't effect everyone the same. Lame. As far as Tattoos, go all or naught. Full Body is always the way to go. Although, no one could ever be as cool as this guy.

That big event that sponsors me every October at the convention centre always sets one room aside for tattoo artists though. I've met people who have traditions of getting one every year and all the tattoo artists have cool stories and some are even pretty cool people.

Ditto. Walked right past the most popular tattoo parlors in southeast Asia as a young Marine and never had the desire to walk in. I will never have to worry about covering a mistake.

That happened to a friend overseas. He had a heart tattoo in high school with his girlfriend's name. Naturally they broke up. I think we migh have been in Hong Kong or the Phillipines, anyway he had it turned into a butterfly to cover her name.

Tattoos always seem like a good idea at the time.

I'm with Sub and EcSTSatic - clean.

I fall into the camp that doesn't like tattoos; too many bad Yakusa flicks when I lived in Japan! But I will say I find them really repulsive on women, to the point if I were younger, and in the market, a tattoo bigger than a quarter would be a disqualifier for a seat at my table.

if its not wanting tattoos then removal, there is that cream that just pulls the ink out over time ...i think 6months-1yr and it get it faded fast..i forget the name off hand.
if you just dont like the ink choice, then maybe expand on them and do some coverups.

i love the look of the dragon, Hawaiian looking flower arm pieces and skulls, but they are all things i have no interest in having on me.
everything i have has a meaning and was a well drawn out thought process.
i conpletly understand with those who dont like ink... no problem...its always 50-50 like em or love em.. i also know a girl that wants her Tinkerbell removed....seriously i had no clue she had it....and ive actually seen some dumbass driving a civic with "Thug Life" on his arm....
