: Thunder Gray owners... Which pic matches the best?

From the 100s of pictures i have seen no camera captures the same color. I am limited to a few trips to the dealership so i cannot say i know what this color looks like. It seems more gray with only a hint of blue/green in direct sunlight. Which picture best represents the color and how often/when does it appear the other colors (in remaining pics) or is that bad camera settings?

The Thunder looks grey in the shade; blue grey in sun. Pix 1 & 3 above come the closest.

Hmmm id say in direct sunlight the middle pic is almost spot on.

one and two are most accurate IMO.

Agreed looks like the middle pic in DIRECT SUNLIGHT.
I'll break the tie...middle picture is closest to mine.
Middle one, but the color does change shade and color depending on the lighting. That's what the ChromaFlair is all about. http://s927.photobucket.com/albums/ad120/elphil_photo/?action=view¤t=IMG_0072.jpg

Middle pic is my car. It looks exactly like that in direct sunlight. In the shade, the color doesn't show the green properties, it just looks gray. The color basically changes in appearance depending on the lighting.
Direct sunrise lighting:
Overcast cloudy day (still shows hints of green)

So i think i like this color, except when it looks really green. Even then it is still a great color, but i want the car to have a tough look and it seems to be more sexy than tough when it sparkles green. My plans would be to get some custom 3pc either flat black or a mix of flat black and dark gray with possibly a hint of green to be monochrome. Just not sure if this car, even lowered and with a great set of wheels can look tough like black, white and red can.
I want it to look tough like the one I already have... Is it possible!!!

Also for those of you who own a TG, take a look at this link, there is a picture of a V in one of the thumbnails.... I have seen that same picture with different lighting so I am guessing it had the green removed? Or is that an accurate color too?

yep, mine looks different depending on the sky, clouds, and grass or trees nearby. I think that makes it very cool. To use your words, more sexy than tough. To each his own. Great car no matter what color!

If you want "tough" go black, imo. Somewhere on this site is a Black Coupe with tinted windows and 20" rims that I would not want to meet in a dark alley! LOL!
Here is recent pic of my TG; it looks blue to me.

The longer you own a Thunder Grey car, the more you notice all the different "flops" the Cromaflair makes. It ranges from charcoal grey to a steel grey, but also has hues of green and blue depending on the lights intensity and angle. It really highlights the design of the car. Though I still love Black Raven and White Diamond...

looks closest to the second one if you ask me. i bought my car sight unseen, never even sat in a v, let alone drove one. you're about to buy a car with windshield wipers built to go 190mph, and you're obsessing over the color?? man-up. unless this is a chick, which pretty much explains everything.

Hey, man, don't go hating on those of us who obsess over color. If I have to look at a car every day, I want to be sure I like what I see.
I've actually moved on from my first choice in a vehicle becasuse I did not like any of the colors.
