Looks awesome. I wonder what it would look like with a white V logo

IMHO would never powder coat calipers, but they look great

I guess you found fault with the stock powdercoated ones?

Maybe I should have painted them? LOL

No fault, did you have them rebuilt to?

If i did something it would be nickel plate them. The powder changes color on the track. Plating wont do that as easy.

The whole point is to make them gloss black. I'm not aware of any plating process that results in gloss black. Also, it's the clearcoat over the powdercoat that changes color. If you just powdercoated them and left off the decal, you wouldn't need to clear them.

Anodize calipers, if you want them to better withstand track temps. I'm sure I'm not the only one with gold front calipers. Happened after the fist session at NJMP on Thunderbolt with PCA.

Here's a great article on brake applications at the track:

Sure, it's a sales pitch, but it's good info. Also, they have competitive pricing on brake pads.

True that there is no process in plating to make gloss but it would be different and better for the track in terms of not changing color. Anodize is good to but chips to easy.

Look nice, but I really like the silver stock color. I would love to get my flat black Camaro brembos powdercoated silver. And I thought powdercoating was more durable than painting?

I had my last calipers powdercoated red. With 5 track days, slicks, race pads all with crazy braking zones, my calipers never changed colors.
