Great concept. I thought it was a joke at first, but at least Lund Cadillac put some "go" into this Escalade. If I had $113k, I'd think about it.....likely before buying a Cayenne instead.

:yeah:

for the money that's a pretty sweet ride... if you're into SUVs in the first place, i guess

I would buy the cheyene. The Escalade is just too heavy for all that.

First off that is WAY TOO MUCH MONEY for what they did and they didn't even install the Escalade Platinum's LED headlamps? WTF! Nice try though. I don't know who would drop that much cash on it though! Even at $100K, it's too much!

sure you could probably do that for yourself for a lot less money but they're in the business to make some money... the market will determine if the price they are asking is too high

Why doesn't anyone ever state the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times you're paying extra for? Isn't that a major part of the equation?!

You guys should venture to the other areas of the forum more often- there's a guy here who's posted videos of his twin turbo Escalade running 11's and annihilating Lightnings at the dragstrip.

Note also Lund says you get the full factory 4 year full coverage warranty plus 5th year on the power train. Obviously they had to tune it and not just bolt on parts. All would agree you that on your own for less money, certainly the performance part, but the drive train warranty is history.

That thing doesn't make me think it's a V at all. I'll pass.

I suppose someone will buy it.. I mean, people will still buy BMWs.....So, if you overprice something enough...someone will plunk down the cash.

That vid was outstanding!!!

IF I was to ever buy a REAL lade V (not that it exists) it would have to put down about 850 to the wheels to get me interested. Got to overcome to much weight to make it fun otherwise.

Stock 0-60 is 6.5 seconds, this should be well under 6.0...

The accountants might all suddenly come down with heart attacks at the thought of a $65K SRX.

waste of cash, woudl be cheaper to jsut strap a 122 on a stocker and say screw the warranty. You could replace the engine 3 times with what they wanna charge for that.
