I saw the new STS commercial this evening, and it was very nice. All the Benzes and Bmers driving around were acting quite scared of the STS V-8. Vroom...Can't wait for the STS-V! I've heard so many rumors on the engine/tranny combo...Does anyone really know? It's gonna be a hot car either way in my opinion. Peace.

I think it's a very classy commercial! The ballroom with chandeliers gives Cadillac extra class when it proceeds to bully all those German cars. :lildevil:

yeah it was great, best Cadillac commercial ever. Till like 2 years ago I had not seen a Cadillac commercial since 1996 with the Eldorado and how it had a phone in it. I loved that car for a while haha

I used that commercial in a presentation I did about Cadillac for my marketing class. It was fantastic.

You know what commercial was great-- the old Cheerios commercial. That Bee was a class act.

I think the STS is the most OVERPRICED Cadillac ever. Nothing but a "glorified" CTS. The DTS is the vehicle that provides the most car for one's buck. IMHO of course.

I think the STS is Nothing but a "glorified" CTS.

Well the DTS is certainly "affordable" compared to a STS but comparing to a CTS as "glorified" is rather more apples than oranges aside from the Sigma styling and some of the engine packages for the most part. Other than that the ride/performance/handling/interior/features etc. etc. etc. are completly different as discussed many a time by these boards.

Having driven both the 05 CTS/DTS's several times and spending some time sitting in an 06 DTS I find the differences to be obvious. Of course as an 05 STS owner I have already made my choice.

As long as your happy with what you drive then life is good!

I really like the "Gentlemen" commercial for the DTS as well. Very classy. I just wish the STS could fit 4 golf bags. The pre-2005 style STS could from what I understand.

Midsize cars like the STS are shrinking along with all the others. The artificial pressures to control car design will just drive Americans to buy bigger vehicles. If they run too slow, we'll just shoehorn in small-block V8's. Those old pushrod motors can be juiced to 500 HP. To hell with CAFE standards, emissions and the rest.
