I had to replace both of my wheel cylinders a day ago and I seen that my shocks (air) were shoot i was wondering would it be a even swop if i were to put regular monroe spring shocks in and get away from the air shock and woul i run into any major problems.?????
You would need to upgrade the springs (I think people use Impala/Caprice springs) because they are not designed for a passive system.
If there is nothing wrong with the level ride compressor, a better alternative would be replacing them with the factory correct shocks. The AC DELCO part number is 504-511. You can order them through most AC DELCO authorized distributors and most shock/strut service places will probably be able to get them for you as well.
