Hi guys,

Need a quick favor if anybody has a wiring diagram for a 1993 Deville/fleetwood (FWD) .

I'm swapping a low Km 1993 trans into my 1991 fleetwood (trans was free and mine is NFG) however the 1993 tranny connector has an additional wire. My feeling is that it is for cars with traction control (extra temp sensor), however this was'nt an option in 1991 so I can't reference it in my 1991 manual. Anyways if somebody has the diag for the 7 pin connector on the transmission and could post it or a write out of each pin, colour, and function, I would be in your debt.

I can also post some pics of my engine support that I've just finished if anybody is interested (total cost was about $30 cdn) and its strong!

I have no idea... But the difference between the 4 and 5 pin '89 THM 440-t4 is VCC pressure sensor, which is in the pump body...

I guess you may be able swap the pump bodies, but if its just an extra pressure sensor then you might get away with just not reading that sensor... But then again its probably a shift silenoid...

Have you asked the people at your local GM dealer? Get both trans' 4 digit tranny codes and a notebook and see what you find out... But maybe someone around here knows whats up.
