: Working on a new blower option.

We put a 2.3 twin screw on today and it looks like everything will fit just fine. I'll have to make a custom snout to get the pulleys lined up but I don't think that will be a big deal.
Tomorrow I'm going to mount a 3.3 on there and see where we are. I'll have to make a custom mounting plate and slide the blower back a little and make a longer snout to make up the difference.
The only issue may be hood clearance at the front of the blower with the 3.3. The 2.3 clears the hood quite easily.
The rear entry inlet tube, on the 3.3, will have to be fabbed out of sheet metal.
If the 3.3 clears the hood, I'm going to go ahead and make a working unit for my car. If not, I'll make the 2.3 work and test that.

LMAO... I KNEW if wouldn't take long before you went ballistic with your V. That is too funny.

I'm eager to see what you finally end up with in terms of options...

I knew that you would eventually take the bait, Andy. When will you have some RWHP & RWTQ #'s posted?

I don't want to speak for Andy, but I believe he's waiting on a blower pulley. Once that comes in, he'll throw it on and see what happens.

I'm willing to bet that when he gets it going, it will put down some sick power, at which point he'll probably be quite proud posting the results. :)

Luna, do you happen to know if Andy was planning on swapping the slugs out? (yes I mean pistons)

Thanks

No, I don't, but, knowing Andy, my $$ is that he definitely would, probably sooner rather than later
