They found 18 codes! That might explain why not only did the stabilitrack and service brakes soon light go on, but the right rear tpms too! WTF? I go back in tomorrow when they get a Caddy specialist in. And they are setting me up with a rental. Uh oh?

this might have been the shortest lived ownership ever lol

sorry to hear that man but with that many codes i'd guess you have something wrong in the ecu opposed to 18 different sensors being set off by actual failures. good luck

Do you know if the car ever had a tune? Keep us updated.

Sounds like you got scammed. The dealer that sold it to you had to have ran and seen the codes. If not they cleared them and than sold it to you.

That's exactly what happened and I confronted them about it already. They don't care. All I got was an insincere apology. I'm sure if it happens a 3rd time, they will care and be the nicest dealer in the world because of the lemon law. It's just BS that less than 5 days after getting it, it's going to the dealer already.

bummer man!! Are you sure you can do the lemon on a used car?

As long as the warranty is still good the dealership it's at now will fix it and you will be on your way.

Do you have it in writing that the car had a full warranty?

Already have a GMVIS on it (thanks chris!). It's under warranty until 12/2013. No warranty block. I do have this though!

I think you will be fine. Have em fix it and then be on your way :D

Good luck.

Yup, that's the plan at this point. Spoke to the Mgr at the dealer and he's cool. It just sucks. Now I have to go into a ****ing eco box rental. Ugh! I have plans this weekend though!

Dom was correct you can have it fixed but you will NOT be able to pursue lemon law on a used vehicle.

heck, makes u wonder if there are even any stock unmodified used v's

I know a few cars that went low 10's, were put back to stock and then returned to the dealer. Scary.

Hmmm? Warranty states otherwise. 3rd paragraph up.

You think it's modded? Looks like stock pulley and intake. Bolts weren't even touched. If the ecm is programmed, I don't feel a difference.

might have been returned to stock...this was a very popular practice i know with the BMW 135i/335i. Lots were modding that engine and returning it to stock on lease returns/trade ins.

18 codes sounds like a ground issue or bad ECM.

That nonsense warranty paper you posted is in regard to vehicles with no factory warranty, so ignore that. GM will pay the dealer to diagnose and fix the issue, which sounds to me like either a clean reprogramming or replacement of the ECM. Drive the rental and let them fix it.

18 codes isn't anything to sneeze at, but they also don't mean that they aren't active codes. I could pull up 7 or 8 codes on my 05 CTS-V, immature, history, ect. And 2 of the 8 were current codes and were caused by an O2 that had become disconnected from the harness.

Here are all the codes. The 121 is the ABS. The 101 and 700 is Transmission. 561 is Stability Control. The 140 is Body Control Module. The 0073's are the Control Module which was already replaced. I can't read the rest.
