I've been reading conflicting posts in regards to the need for the smaller 50mm idler pulley when using the 9.10".

According to Metco: This replacement idler pulley is necessary in CTS-V applications using our larger 9.1" (MCR0006V) and 9.55" (MCR0008V) crank pulley rings.

So, what's the deal? Do you 9.10" guys have this smaller idler pulley installed?

I've only heard its necessary if you're going larger than 9.1"

See, that's why I'm confused.
Metco says it's necessary.
Where are all the 9.10" peeps?

I haven't seen many running that combo...

Have you thought about just calling metco?

I got a 9.1" kit from a reputable place, and it didn't include another idler pulley either, just a longer belt. They told me only 9.5" and bigger.

Just put the belt in place before you put on the lower idler, then you will be fine. We dont use a lower idler with the 9inch kits.
