Nice job! What is that blue cable running between the battery and the cabin?

The blue cable looks like a power supply to an amplifier in the trunk. Mine is red. =] Lol.

Is that an Optima battery?

Optima's are sealed. Dead giveaway are the removeable covers to check/service electrolyte levels.

Nice detail job! I agree, reroute the amp cable.

I have an Optima 4 terminal yellow top, and it is PERFECT for the aftermarket stereo application. One set for the car, the other set for the stereo. 1000w Jensen amp, 2 12" MTX Road Thunders in a SubZero box.

I test drove a '96 Chrysler Sebring Convertible (LOVE them.) in Sunnyside... It's no wonder the car turned out to be unkempt. Just like that shitty little town... As a matter of fact, it was on my way home from that test drive that I stopped by in Yakima to test drive the DeVille. I was apprehensive about the size, mpg, etc... The second I drove it, I fell in love. The rest is history. haha

Wait.

Hold it.

This is an emergency.

Did someone just say they love the Sebring?

Am I going blind?

My first car was an '04. Beautiful car. The '96, not so much, but they are quality, economical, and a CONVERTIBLE. Lol. I was on a budget, so I couldn't afford anything like my Sebring.

There will be no liking of Sebrings. It's in the rules.

The 1996-2000 Sebring convertible was better built, better looking, and more dependable than generations that followed.

The Eclipse-based '95-'00 coupe was another matter.

The coupe was ugly... I like the 2004-2006 updated second generation Sedan/Convertible. Biased, as you can see, but still the best looking. Better than the ugly 2006-2010 Sebring. That was bad. Now they changed the grille and called it the 200!

but enimem endorsed it so it has to be cool right?

Lol. It disappointed me that Eminem sold out like that.

The Seville engine bay after a quick wipe down with Simple Green:

Betty's engine bay after a similar wipe down. Certainly not perfect and the wiring's messy, but she's a 47-year-old driver:

With the gaping face? Ack. At least the 01-03 grille looked Italian-influenced.

Debating about what Sebring looks the best is like debating about what STD you'd like the most.

I don't know Gary... she may be 47, but I'd ride it all over.
