: The heavymetals' U-Turn Fuel Line Elimination Mod

It was either 1-1/2 or 2-1/2 years ago I don't rightly recall for certain (wait till you get my age and you'll understand that better :(), I bought heavymetals' last fuel rail connector block. He was getting a C-note each, at the time, and I had an extra C-note just burning a hole in my pocket so I relieved him of it. Anyway, if you don't know, its purpose is to eliminate the completely absurd U-turn the OEM fuel line makes as it emerges from behind the engine on the passenger side near the firewall and connects to the fuel rail. I had a set of black Corvette FRCs that I wanted to install but they needed trimming and I wanted the U thing dealt with before I started trimming away material I didn't need to. Got it done yesterday after a small mishap (let's not talk about that :canttalk:), and other than the slight non-symmetrical appearance, I'm okay with the job.

The OEM block and U-shaped fuel line that was removed ...

The heavymetals' replacement connector block installed ...

Black Vette FRCs finally installed though not perfect ...

You know, EVERYONE should have a maggie.

Looks very nice!

Just a ?, but have you pulled the intake snout and opened the butterfly to see if there is a pool of oil there?

I modified my valve covers and it took two versions of catch cans to finally get rid of the oil.

Haven't looked in there since the Maggie went on four years and 21,000 miles ago. I'll let you know.
