new to the site, i have a 03 escalade ext bought it about 2 months ago

I've been keeping my eye onthe site and postiong occasionally. Currently, I monitor this site, the SilveradoSS site and the GM-Trucks site to get more help or info on matters of maintenance and performance. I have had an 02 Escalade for about 1.5 months. I've added 20" Chrome Boss 305 Wheels, addon wood dash kit, preditor programmor, Volant CAI, and am checking into modifications to the OnStar hardware. i.e., using the cell antenna and hands free features with my portable cell phone, and potential for using the built in GPS for navigation. Otherwise, keep her clean and looking good! :yup:

Sup everyone, I have an 04' EXT. So far, I only have Magnaflow dual exhaust (couldnt stand the hideous oval shaped stock one), limo tint all around, and 2 JL 12W6V2's. Im 18 as well, tho apparently not the only one. No rich parents here, just a nice job on the side that covers the car very well :coolgleam . Cya on the forums!

hi, i'm new. i've got a white 1999 Escalade. Carriage Works billet grille, Whelen 90w police strobes, Clarion VRX935VD flip out 7" with DVD player, 4 Alpine Type-R 10"s, i think thats it so far. as soon as i sell my old car, i'll be getting my lift kit, 37" tires, and 16x10" wheels. :D

There is an interface that my installer installed to keep the On-Star and the steering wheel controls. Everything still works like factory.

I wanted to install 03 or newer HID light, but I could not find any info or any competent installers that would it. Instead I just replaced it with aftermarket HID. All the other exterior light bulbs in the truck were replace with a brighter PIAA bulbs.

I lurk, as there are generally excellent responses, unless I have something significant that another has not already presented.

I'm Bill, 43 years old, married, wonderful wife, wooly mammoth black lab, 2002 White Escalade AWD, twenty miles on odo at purchase. Escalade exterior aesthetics a bit "over the top" for my taste, but I make vehicle purchases based on product not profile, and was very impressed with technical attributes of driveline and secondary system components.

Few modifications:
1)Grill painted white.
2)ESCALADE emblems removed from tailgate and front doors.
3)Stock audio system except:
3a)N-7785V by :worship: David Navone; two channels full range out to Alpine MRV-T420 running down to 65Hz to Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1s replacing rear door speakers.
3b)N-7785V; two channels low pass to Alpine MRV-T500 to pair of JBL 8" woofers in ported tear drop enclosures.
3c)N-7785V; adjustable line-outs from 0 volts to 9.5 volts to facilitate 1:3 gain structure.
4)K&N in stock box air filter.
5)Detailed to the nth degree w/ Meguiar's Deep Crystal System and DeWalt electronically regulated rotary.

I'm completely satisfied with my Escalade, but was sad to hear about subsequent year's "de-contenting". As an allergy sufferer, the 10 micron air-filter is profoundly appreciated. In white with tinted front door windows it looks like the vehicle of choice for Imperial Storm Troopers. The exterior appearance is really starting to grow on me. Stealthy in an Ohio-Class Trident ballistic missile submarine sort of way. I call her "The Enterprise". Powerful and Smooth.

I am a previous Avalanche owner who traded up to an EXT. Both vehicles are awesome, and exactly what I need.

I got my White Diamond EXT in March. What a truck! (My wife loves it but then, it's MINE).
