I was looking into getting a set of D3 lowering springs installed and was wondering approx. how long install takes. I am trying ot figure out what total $$$ would be after all is said and done.
Is there alot of setup after install to adjust things like camber etc?
Do you have to alter or modify any of the stock components?
Whould I be able to go back to stock without having to purchase any stock replacement parts that may need to be altered or removed for the D3 spring install?

The cheapest place I found was about $250 + $50 for a 4 wheel alignment. Prices vary a lot depending on what part of the country you are in. It can be done by the average shade tree mechanic with a handful of common tools (and a free rent a tool from your local parts store.) It will take about 5-6 hours doing it by yourself with hand tools. Knock off about 30 mins to an hour if you have air tools. It's not hard, just time consuming.

Do you have to alter or mod any stock components? I just want the abilty to go back to stock without any complications and was wondering if you can do so easily if you had to.

That seems about right after reading the dozen or so threads about it.
