I'm a new member and just picked up my "Brand New" 05 V from a Cadallic dealer in Iowa. With only 3877 miles it truely is brand new. Now I know what all the hipe is about. What a Car! My first drive in a CTS-V was eastern Iowa to Las Vegas, Nevada, 1700+ miles, 5 states and 2 speeding tickets. With such low miles, I will have this car for many years and enjoy every one of them.
Thanks

That's not a gang sign....... That means he's hungry and is about to stop somewhere

wow, that's definitely some low miles. the only one I know of lower is the untitled 05 up at EVS in wisconsin.

I think I might ditch my 04 and begin the search for a super low mile V like this.

Beautiful car, and essentially brand-spankin-new! Congratulations!! I'm in Des Moines. Where did you find it and, if you don't mind, how much?

Wow! Did it belong to the little old lady from Pasadena? Bet you're a real terror on Colorado Blvd. I know I would be if I had that car. Love it and what a find! - BC

You're 47?Looks like he himself only has 3,877 miles, too.

Very nice car, btw. Are you sure that's not a gang sign at all but simply a request for a tire pressure gage to check that front tire?

what'd you end up paying for a 2005 with 3877 miles on it? hopefully not too much since the warranty is most likely almost up, if not already expired.

77075It's my son in the picture, he's 20 and he is not in a gang. Already tinted windows, Thank you. I found the car on ebay, won the auction but didn't meet the reserve. Contacted seller in eastern Iowa and flew there and made the deal. He sold it new to a guy in Iowa City who traded it back in for an SUV.

if i were to have a low mileage car it would have to have more than that, who knows what hasn't broken yet that's going to before 20,000 miles.

Nice Find!

One year ago this month I picked up my '05 with only 1,380 miles on it. Like yours - It was basically brand new! I purchased a 3/36 bumper2bumper GM Major Guard warranty for $1,250 - figured it was cheap insurance.

One year and 10,000 miles later(odometer is 11,xxx now) the only problems I've had were the 3rd brakelight and a leaky radiator(which GM replaced under the expired FACTORY warranty because of the low miles - at no charge to me).

crazy how people just don't drive these cars... I don't get it.

I got my '05 with 54 miles on the odo. 'Course, that was 6-1/2 years ago.

3,877 miles for an '05 is truly amazing being that it's June 2011. Trouble is, it's so few that it makes you feel worse putting any more miles on it.

Indeed but how couild you not drive it? I figure I can drive the crap out of it and in 2 or 3 years it will still be a low mileage car. And I just couldn't see paying 18-20k for a car with 60,000-80,000 miles. For 5k more I got this car and like I said, can drive it without worry about mileage. I want to thank you guys for having this fourm and i'm sure I will be picking your brains in the future.
