Thanks.
We really enjoyed that story.
They claim homeless people make the best dog owners.

Dogs seem to know when a person is hurting and look past the obvious to give love and emotional support when humans don't seem to be able to do it. The love and loyalty of dogs is one life's great gifts.

I saw that story yesterday, looked at the photos, and nearly cried. Then I called Hoover and held him close. We are utterly devoted to each other; I consider myself incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful dog.

Before my aunt died of cancer in January, her dog got to see her in hospice so they could say good-bye to each other. I was so relieved and happy when I learned that she had been adopted. I hope Penny will get all the love and devotion she deserves.
